Gold Plating
Gold and its alloys are very useful in many electroplating processes, and there are almost eight categories of gold that makes it possible.
The types of gold utilized by plating industries are decorative 24K gold flash, decorative gold alloy, decorative gold alloy, heavy, industrial or electronic soft gold, industrial or electronic hard gold, etc.
There are up to four gold plating solutions which electroplaters use for electrodepositing which include: alkaline gold cyanide for gold and gold alloy plating, neutral gold cyanide for high-purity gold plating, acid gold cyanide for bright, hard gold as well as gold alloy plating and non-cyanide, generally sulfite, for gold and gold alloy electrodepositing.
