The process for this plating method involves hanging of metal parts on a metallic fixture where galvanic cell circuit will flow from to complete the plating of materials.

Using the rack plating equipment is labor intensive, expensive and time-consuming but it is the best option if you want to avoid parts damages that may occur if you put delicate parts through barrel plating. Also, if you need to electroplate big parts that cannot fit into a barrel, rack plating equipment is your only choice.

However, before using rack plating method, make sure that you have determined the shape, quantity, and size of the parts to be electroplated.
